Vaughn is from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He was ranked #2 in Juniors in South Africa in both 18’s Singles and Doubles. He played for the University of Alabama at Birmingham from “1992-1996. Was ranked #17 in Singles and #1 in Doubles in the NCAA Division I and was an All-American. He won the National Clay Courts and the National Indoors. Vaughn played on the ATP Tour from “1997 – 2001”. He best ranking was #400 in Singles and #150 in Doubles. He won two ATP events in doubles and won the Zermatt Open in Singles in “2000”. He also won the Irish and Scottish Open in Doubles. Vaughn played Singles in both Wimbledon and the Australian Open.
