Armi was an all American twice at the University of Florida where he won SEC singles titles in 1967 and 1969. He played on the A.T.P. World Tour from 1971-1977. His highest World ranking in singles was 136th -- in the USA Top 20. His highest world ranking in doubles was 75th. He was nationally ranked #1 in Singles in his 35’s, 40’s and 45’s. He currently lives in Atlanta, GA with wife Alice Pendergrast.
