Peter is a native of Australia where he won the Australian Junior Championship at age 16. From 1978-1982 he played collegiate tennis at the University of Georgia. While there, Peter won five outdoor Southeastern Conference titles, was an All-SEC Conference player and was Captain of the Men’s Top 4 National team. He was also a finalist at the Orange Bowl International Junior Championships. After college, he played professionally on the ATP Tour throughout the U.S.A. and at the U.S. Open and traveled worldwide in Africa, Europe and Australia and reached a world ranking of 280 in Singles. He retired in the late 1980s and has been teaching tennis in Atlanta. He was the “1996” Champion of Atlanta’s AT&T Million Dollar Challenge Men’s National Clay Courts. The Georgia Professional Tennis Association has recognized him five times as “Male Player of The Year.” He is currently a tennis professional at the Standard Club in Duluth.
