Eddie was born in Rome, Georgia and was formerly a top ranked junior in Georgia, the South and The United States. He received a four-year scholarship to North Carolina State University, where he was a two time MVP and Captain. Eddie ended his career as the winningest Singles player in the school’s history. He went on to play on the European Tour in 1989 and spent eight years with the U.S.T.A. as Director of Marketing for the Southern Section. He is a four-time winner of the Atlanta Senior Invitational, twice with Stephen Enochs as partner. In “2004” he was a finalist in the U.S. Men’s 35s Clay Court Championships with partner Ned Caswell. Eddie is currently employed by the U.S.T.A.
