- Matt was awarded a four year scholarship to Georgia Tech Men’s Tennis
- In 1997, he was #3 Single’s Flight Champion in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and #2 Doubles Flight Champion
- Matt received the Region II Arthur Ashe Sportsmanship Award in 1998
- He was the #2 Singles Flight Champion in the ACC and #3 Doubles Flight Champion
- Selected to the all ACC Men’s Tennis Team in 1999
- 2006 ATP Atlanta Clay Court Challenger Doubles Quarterfinalist
- Current holder of 12 ATP doubles points
